Calendar and Date Settings in scalenow AI

In scalenow AI configure working days, date formats, and calendar subscriptions in scalenow AI to align with your scheduling and display preferences. Access these settings via Administration → Calendar and Dates.

Working Days and Hours

 

  • Define the days and hours considered as working time for scheduling and duration calculations.
  • Default Settings:
    • Working hours: 8 hours/day
    • Working days: Monday–Friday
    • Non-working days: Saturday and Sunday
  • Customization:
    • Uncheck non-working days and check working days.
    • Set duration formats for fields like Work, Remaining Work, and Time Spent (options: hours only or days and hours).
    • Apply changes to update the configuration.

Specific Non-Working Days

 

  • Mark specific dates (e.g., holidays) as non-working.
    • Click + Non-working day, name the day, and select the date.
    • Apply changes for the updates to take effect.
  • These settings impact all scheduling calculations in the instance.

Date Formats

 

  • Configure time, date, and week settings:
    • Date and Time Formats: Set based on user language or choose specific formats.
    • Week Start Day: Select Monday, Sunday, or Saturday.
    • First Week of the Year: Define based on regional standards (e.g., ISO-8601 or US/Canada norms).
  • Save changes to apply updates.

Calendar Subscriptions

Enable iCalendar subscriptions to allow users to access calendar information externally.

  • Navigate to Calendar Subscriptions and toggle the Enable iCalendar Subscriptions setting.
  • When inactive, subscriptions are disabled for all users.
